I don’t like the sound of that…rear axle brakes? I thought if I need my brakes done, they just put new pads on. I don’t think I’ve kept any of my last few cars long enough to get brakes done. Frig.

Probably a "ghost" job. Companies post fake positions online for jobs that don't exist. They're trying to build up a roster of talent in the pipeline for later use. They can harvest tons of talented people's data, then pick and choose who they need when an opening arises.
I would write back and cuss them out.
