He's doing well. Working full time for a railway tanker car inspection company, like the guys he works with.
I though he would be sad and disappointed having to ask us for help again, but he wasn't. He seems relieved and happy to be here for now.
He's been seeing a therapist which has also helped immensely. I think he drinks less than I do now.
Bright side: you missed a lot of people on a week against (I'm assuming) a good team.... I'm sure in my bi weekly meeting with my boss (he's actually skipped the last 2) we'll go over the owner's email about his dumbass survey. Looks like I was right to assume that only 1 of my top 3 would be everyone's top 3 (proper compensation). Type of work really doesn't concern me as I'm not going to do what I wanted when I was hired by the old owner. Be interesting to see if I get a bad attitude reputation if I say I just want to stick at the position I'm in. Not really wanting to advance bc I'm not moving to fucking Atlanta for no amount of $. If I'm going to be in Atlanta, I better be the new owner of the returning Thrashers to the NHL. Even then, I'm not staying around Atlanta or GA for that matter.
