Tuesday - No Sponsorship, Lame Rainy Day

Remember when you went to the beer bar, got hungry and noticed they "had pizza"? So you ordered one, and watched the bartender stick a frozen one in the toaster oven.
There was a place in Brooklyn that actually cooked you a legit pizza when you bought a beer. Real oven, relatively fresh ingredients.

what does "relatively fresh" ingredients mean?

cud b.

It was a shitty wannabe hipster bar. Idiots couldn't even spell "Belgium" right on their sweet beer list chalkboard.
I went off on someone Sunday at BK. I am stuck in the drive-thru staring at a "now hiring $13/hr" added with the teenager yelling "will you wait a second!" through the speaker.

Well, I have no idea when they made the dough, shredded the cheese, and so forth, but it was all set up like a legit pizzeria. So it wasn't like Grampa Mike outlined, where they threw a Totino's pizza in a toaster oven.

in fairness, he's from canada. every dive bar in NEPA made a decent pizza and wings.

Patience my friend...these artisans are being paid $15/hr. Perfection cannot be rushed
I been watching Alton Brown's Good Eats again. That guy makes pizza making an all day sucker.

Best pizza evah
Ha, we usually didn't give a shit.

I mean, look at the other bar food they had...pickled eggs, jerky, peanuts sitting out...

I mean, this wasn't like a separate order. It was included in the price of a beer. I'm assuming that not every single time someone ordered a beer, they got a pizza, but I'm pretty sure I did.

This is becoming a mild pet peeve of mine: Why so people say "cooked" when they should say "baked"? Kinda like when the cop on TV pulls over someone and says, "Turn off the car."

agree with line 2.

Depends on the state. Some are mandatory but in my offer letter it is guaranteed
