There are some benefits to those. If you work in an environment where you need to get rid of your dip quick you can spit those out and not having to worry about the grains in your teeth. I know @kobesgame swears by them

I mean, they are slightly less disgusting than someone spitting out a big old pinch they had tucked in their cheek.

plus probably less fiberglass in those pouches.

I usually go through 2 tins a week. I have some friends that do that in a day

My Dad is a lifelong dipper. I remember breaking into one of his tins of Skoal when I was pretty little and eating it. My next memory was my mom holding me by my ankles while I threw up on the front porch. I am not sure who she was more angry with? My Dad or me?

Couldn't even see Lake Superior from the top of the hill.

The sun not being out was the one thing Duluth did right. But Superior probably did that anyway.
