Tuesday with a dusting of snow

nothing heavy overnight, but temps definitely froze my un-plowed road in my neighborhood, so I am working remote again today.

We got dusted in the Detroit area. No biggie and so fluffy.

Vacation is officially over for me now. Back to the grind.

So, we got about 25" of snow late last week and because of the temps, it's still around. I love it, so doesn't bother me any. We have 4x4 vehicles and i have a plow, so i just enjoy the winter wonderland. Winter is probably my favorite season.

Son got with a recruiter. Looks like he's going to Parris Island later this year, after spending his entire life saying he was NOT going to be any following in footsteps. Guess he decided college didn't look like a great time.

Yeah, that's what I say because it's the closest "city", and it is where I work...but i live a good half hour away in a small lake town called Edinboro, which is in a "snow belt" that gets DUMPED on with Lake Effect

I've never been up that way in PA but I have seen it in Upstate NY

morning all, few meetings today, but nothing too bad.

Bringing our new dachshund to buddies house to see if they can watch him while we go to Dominican. We have a house sitter for Murray but we don't fully trust Murray alone with another dog and don't want to put the stress on the dog sitters, although early on it's going pretty well with the two.

My truck was too cold to remote start this morning! What kind of stupid logic is that? If its just chilly or really hot it will start. But apparently too cold and I had to go out and manually push the button like some sort of caveman this morning.

4 of the 5 kids had a 2hr delay. Poor Buck went on time. Hopefully he gets his grades up & in March we can transfer him and everyone will be in Indiana. Our wrestling season will be over or almost if we do 1 additional tournament by then. I'm looking forward to then as I'll be semi retired from coaching.

looking into going to Eugene OR for gopher game next year, would have to get Mrs Pnk on board as it's a bit pricey. i have 0 expectations of gophers doing anything, more to check out area and a new stadium as a whole

Might ask my buddy about going to the 49ers vs Colts in Indy. He lives in Indy & is a Colts fan, but really just want to go to take a pic of the HS alma mater's display for being state champs. He & I played football together forever & played in those uniforms together. Unfortunately for us injuries to our fellow classmates hurt our record & chances. We were thrilled that his step cousin's son that I coached in youth was able to accomplish our dream.

Maybe it's time to get your key fob for the remote starter checked/new battery in it

Oddly enough just changed it sunday because it was getting low. I've had this happen before, seems to only be when it is really cold outside. But I manned up and went out to make sure my kid and dog had a toasty truck to ride in.
