Morning radio interviewed a guy at the airport that was dealing with Southwest issues. It was his first vacation in 15 years. "I'm definitely going to think about using a different carrier in the future."


I'm sure they'll miss that $27 AAV
 
So our construction manager told us he had no idea when we would have the garage door we ordered. As in the company can't even say 6 months, 8 months...so they are giving us a temporary door. Kind of curious what that's going to look like

True, however if even 30% of their regular customers do likewise that is a problem

Yep... We don't know when we can restart some lines because our raw material suppliers don't know when they can provide material. Nuts
 
What are the airline problems? I thought it was air traffic controllers, wouldn't that affect all of them?

Siding we ordered was also going to be a question mark so we went with a different mfg

With the orig door? I don't think its fancy it was supposed to have some windows and a texture to match the shake siding but nothing over the top. I was willing to just tack up some plastic to cover the door but that's not going to pass final inspection

They're doing the right thing. they'll probably put up a door that they can leave the tracks and stuff up and use it for the next door, then at least you'll be able to use your garage and lock stuff up.

Agreed. I appreciate how they are working around this to find a temp solution
 
Day 9 of motorhome held hostage. Wife drove by there yesterday and said it had been moved so at least they're probably working on it. Not impressed with this shop's communication skills at all.
Guess I'll drive by there today.

That's what Southwest said.... But Southwest was the only one significantly impacted.


So it was something else (pertaining to themselves), but they're passing the blame.

I am going to refrain from getting political, however I believe this is a sign of things to come in other industries
