Renting a uhaul?Morning all.
Got a lot done yesterday. However, we may be leaving Friday or Saturday, not Thursday.
We'll see.
they have a month to figure this out before my next flight.Morning radio interviewed a guy at the airport that was dealing with Southwest issues. It was his first vacation in 15 years. "I'm definitely going to think about using a different carrier in the future."
I'm sure they'll miss that $27 AAV
good to know, we want to replace our garage door next yearIf someone were to have told me in June that the freaking garage door would be the hardest thing to get for a build I would have thought they were crazy
So our construction manager told us he had no idea when we would have the garage door we ordered. As in the company can't even say 6 months, 8 months...so they are giving us a temporary door. Kind of curious what that's going to look like
I saw a new bronco in the parking lot when we went to lay Paducah Country Club earlier this summer. Pretty fancy place, there was also a car with a congressional plate on it.I don't look at cars for sale too often recently but few weeks back I checked out broncos listed for sale, at the time, at least on line, none were listed over MSRP
they're now mostly about 10-20% over MSRP
based on delays, I think I might reserve a Bronco directly from Ford this spring and by time it's ready i should be ready to buy. I've also read, most dealerships have honored MSRP on the ordered/reserved broncos but few slimey ones have tried sneaking in dealer fee's of a few K
Nope. Selling all the furniture, shipping the clothes, pots and pans, nick nacks, etc there. Taking the dishes the wife wants to take in the carRenting a uhaul?

All I could think of after looking at the bronco was
I am going to refrain from getting political, however I believe this is a sign of things to come in other industries
I'm still thinking new Colorado next year.I think they're pretty cool, and I like the idea of car I can take the roof off.
I have no need for off roading but I also have no need for a lot of HP and Torque on sports sedans I'm also looking at it.
It's also our 2nd car, so it doesn't even need to be remotely practical.
Good thing you weren't sneaking up on anyone there, Chief LoudFoot. That's already here. Tip toeing around politics as best I can we have a huge shortage of workers. The younger generation isn't stepping up to the trucking, warehouse, food production etc jobs that desperately need filled.
Which is the irony of being so anti immigrant. How the hell would we fill the jobs they do?
