Tuesday With Fewer Douchebags

Got The Extreme Adventures of Super Dave on in the background.

We need more tv like this today.

Did you stick with vinyl or go with another material?
We are still getting vinyl. We found a color that is pretty close to our orig choice. The selling point is its available now

If someone were to have told me in June that the freaking garage door would be the hardest thing to get for a build I would have thought they were crazy

Ran about 5k last night, ate some stuff to clear it food in the apartment. Finished off the bacon, rest of the onion and mushrooms. Then roasted some cheese on some rolls, and put some leftover sous from the weekend in it.

Driving to beautiful Steubenville tonight

Morning all.

Got a lot done yesterday. However, we may be leaving Friday or Saturday, not Thursday.

We'll see.

Morning radio interviewed a guy at the airport that was dealing with Southwest issues. It was his first vacation in 15 years. "I'm definitely going to think about using a different carrier in the future."

I'm sure they'll miss that $27 AAV
they have a month to figure this out before my next flight.

I don't look at cars for sale too often recently but few weeks back I checked out broncos listed for sale, at the time, at least on line, none were listed over MSRP

they're now mostly about 10-20% over MSRP

based on delays, I think I might reserve a Bronco directly from Ford this spring and by time it's ready i should be ready to buy. I've also read, most dealerships have honored MSRP on the ordered/reserved broncos but few slimey ones have tried sneaking in dealer fee's of a few K

good to know, we want to replace our garage door next year

We're in process of replacing our two front doors (main door, and porch), they were supposed to be installed early July, we're now looking at mid November

So our construction manager told us he had no idea when we would have the garage door we ordered. As in the company can't even say 6 months, 8 months...so they are giving us a temporary door. Kind of curious what that's going to look like

I saw a new bronco in the parking lot when we went to lay Paducah Country Club earlier this summer. Pretty fancy place, there was also a car with a congressional plate on it.

All I could think of after looking at the bronco was

Renting a uhaul?
Nope. Selling all the furniture, shipping the clothes, pots and pans, nick nacks, etc there. Taking the dishes the wife wants to take in the car
.
Buying brand new furniture, TV's and stuff when we settle in the new place....

I think they're pretty cool, and I like the idea of car I can take the roof off.

I have no need for off roading but I also have no need for a lot of HP and Torque on sports sedans I'm also looking at it.

It's also our 2nd car, so it doesn't even need to be remotely practical.

I am going to refrain from getting political, however I believe this is a sign of things to come in other industries

That's already here. Tip toeing around politics as best I can we have a huge shortage of workers. The younger generation isn't stepping up to the trucking, warehouse, food production etc jobs that desperately need filled.

Which is the irony of being so anti immigrant. How the hell would we fill the jobs they do?

I'm still thinking new Colorado next year.

When I got the Jeep I was thinking cool I can run it without a top! that didn't work sun beating down on me and my cap trying to blow off, had to wear cap backwards like a douche.
So put the bikini top on and that didn't work, wind had the top beating the fuck out of the top of my head.
Bye bye Jeep.
I've had sun roofs, don't even care for them anymore.

Good thing you weren't sneaking up on anyone there, Chief LoudFoot.
