My brother's girlfriend owns one, but her parents have a barn and land for it. Couldn't imagine paying someone else to care for one of those things.

If I lived on a lake or owned a cabin, maybe. I suppose I could pay marina fees, but I don't want to spend my weekends towing a boat around, waiting in line to launch it, and waiting in line to put it back on the trailer.

Plus if it's my boat and I have to drive it and trailer and drive the truck towing it, I can't turn it into a booze cruise, and then what's the point?

Is this the guy that is also a volunteer fireman and on city council? I read someone make a post about something similar on Facebook this weekend.

Brought him home, went and picked up the groceries. Was putting them away and turned around and he was gone. Just like that.
