Tuesday

I don't think it makes it socially acceptable. I am likely not touching any bellies, pregnant or not even if I am asked.
What I am really tempted to do is tickle one and say "who's got your belly!!!"

sister told us on Sunday that they are having another baby. My 2 yr old nephew had the ultrasounds and kept saying it was a picture of a ghost.

she finds out what kind of ghost she is having today
my bet is on male(volent)

Darn acid reflux got me this morning. Idk if it's "aspiration induced vomiting" or what but wasn't the normal from acid reflux. Sucked major at 4am.
I've gotten my acid reflux under good control. I used to wake up choking to death on my own stomach acid several times per week; now it happens maybe once every couple of months and usually only because I break my own rules...

1) I drink only water after lunch and am careful of how much total fluid I consume during and after dinner. (Eating dinner earlier in evenings would help, but I'm not always afforded that option due to work schedules.) I avoid spicy and acidic foods at and after dinner.
2) Prescription strength Omeprazole works best for me. I have a recurring prescription for it from my PCP as it's cheaper an more effective than most over-the-counter versions available. I take it daily in conjunction with my dinner as a preventative.
3) When I had a colonoscopy, I also had my stomach scoped along with it. They found three polyps in my stomach. After I had them removed, my acid reflux improved.
4) I purchased a bed that allows me to adjust the incline at which I sleep on-demand. I now sleep slightly inclined on normal nights with the ability to increase the incline as needed.

Yeah I broke a couple of those rules last night since we ate late & wife made food that was spicy for my weak gut. I'm going to just stick to sleeping in the recliner. If I don't start there I usually end up there anyway.

My doc prescribed Omeprazole 40 mg, once daily. I take it in the morning and I'm good for the whole day & night.

I'm one of those that eat what I want when I'm hungry and not at any set times. I just don't eat ice cream or drink orange juice (or any acidic drinks) after 10 pm, though. Just in case!

Been taking it for about 5 years now and it works for me too. :headbanger:

most women don't want you to touch their belly
lolz at you thinking you know what women do or do not want. Weren’t your dry spells the stuff of legends?

I have had some awkward moments too. The thing is, I am not really into babies or the whole pregnancy thing. I mean, congrats to the couple but I am not ever going to be the person who asks a lot of questions.

And I don't get why a woman would want me to touch her belly?
I’m with you there, dog.

I didn’t even like touching Mrs Redfoot’s belly when she was pregnant.

So I did something stupid. 😬

Accidentally mistook my neighbor for another (heavy) woman at school pick up yesterday and today I got death stares from my neighbor at pick up.

So I’m in the neighbor dog house now.

"Hey Glady's, how are you..... Ah shit..... My bad"

or did you come up from behind and then realize?
