Guess my FIL is mad he and the MIL haven't been included in any of the decisions or planning for my SIL's wedding. Probably because he wants them to get married at their house. I had to leave the house when my MIL told the wife that on the phone yesterday so they couldn't hear me laughing. I have to laugh at something or it's going to kill me.
 
My two pairs of zig sandals have seen better days.

It's not so much planning as getting to approve. He's afraid that they're going to pick things and claim to want to pay, and then stick him with an expensive bill. Yet he's been using her lawn business money for his own play toys. True he does basically do all the mowing since he made her get a 9 to 5 job to somewhat use her college degree, but you get my point.

If he doesn't want the stress then just write a check and tell her "heres what I'm spending". Sounds like he wants to micromanage.

Yep and it sounds like my SIL's future in-laws want to do the same thing. Why they should have just freaking eloped and then figured out a reception later on.
