Two Fridge House

She has blockage in her esophagus and can't get anything into stomach. I dropped her off at the ER today where they put a scope down her throat and found a mass. They will do a biopsy tomorrow to find out more.

It might be a good time to clean out the fridge...huh
Can’t think of a better time than now.

Nothing but good thoughts your way man.

Where do I start......

I was running out of room in my fridge....

So, I bought a chest freezer and filled it up with vacuum packed meats and fries from Costco.

Then I was looking into buying a beverage mini fridge to help take the load off the single fridge.

But I was going to Alaska to fish and was going to need more freezer space for fish filets.

So, I bought another fridge so I could have both a beverage fridge and more freezer space.

However, the first fridge is not enough for all the crap my girlfriend wants to put into it.

Things lying on their sides and on top of each other and now spilling over to the beverage fridge.

Is this a common thing with women that they hoard leftovers and other crap to where one fridge isn't enough?

:headscratch:
Bro, two fridges + deep freezer + beverage fridge here. When I think of the electricity used it annoys me, but when I always have cold drinks and plenty of space for food I forgive myself. :suds:

Have acquired a deep freeze since this thread started. Up to my ears in cold storage boxes at this point.

One fridge, but 3 freezers. Fridge gets a little tight when the wife brings home 4 gallons of milk, but I don't see the need for a 2nd.....fridge. She did tell me once that you could freeze milk, yeah, I don't know about that.

I don't get you guys raggin on left overs. I eat them pretty much every day. Cheaper than going out and getting some bullshit burger or taco that's gonna make ya shit your brains out in an hour.

Two fridges. One kitchen and one garage. Both pretty full. I stock up on steaks and veal chops and then shrink wrap them with a suction machine before freezing. They stay fresh no matter when I open them. Garage fridge does all the heavy lifting for beer.

Reading this thread I’m trying to figure out why I took so much heat for being grossed out by frozen meat being thawed and eaten.

Seems like most people aren’t fans of freezer meats.

We have 3 as well. Main one, garage one for drinks, popsicles etc then a basement fridge which will get more use once the kitchen down there is completed.

Same, but with the second fridge. The first started to act up so I got it repaired, and bought a new one. one of these days that older one will go out and we will have a massive feast.

I have a lot of pet nicknames for my wife, but never used "suction machine". Might work it into the rotation.

I do the same thing with steaks and burgers. With going fishing in Alaska I come with frozen vacuum-packed fish so the freezer space is at a premium.

I'm now thinking I might get a little beverage fridge for my beer....

I got this wine cooler for my 20th anniversary from work.....I'm thinking it will make a great cooler for my beer. Then the GF can have both fridges for her needs. :beer2:

I have a chest freezer downstairs and a regular sized fridge/freezer in my kitchen which is fine. I'd prefer something bigger upstairs but unless it's a major remodel I don't have the room.

That being said I can understand why some need more fridge space. A former coworker told me his old dentist had quadruplet boys. When they turned 15 he had to buy a 2nd fridge because one didn't hold enough food to feed them. Looking at how my 10 year old eats, 5 years x 4 and fuck that's a lot of good.

We have two fridges and two freezers. One fridge is reserved for curing meats and wine fermentation.
One chest freezer, one upright freezer. There is some system that my wife uses to determine what goes on each, but I have no idea what that is.

ETA: I forgot about the fridge out in the shed. I use that to keep my bait fresh.

Got something out of the chest freezer last weekend. It took forever to just get it closed again.

I’m going to need to buy another one or I’m not going to bother opening it again.
Yeah I never know when the simple act of trying to get one thing out of it is going to turn into a major reorganization project.
