when retiring numbers, isn't it usually done at least a decade or so later?

looking at the size of the shoulder pads from Salaam to Sanders and Hunter was a bit jarring. Almost looks like they're not even wearing any by comparison.

Skill dudes always wore smaller pads, but yeah, Salaam looks like he's wearing lineman pads and it looks like Sanders and Hunter are just wearing flak jackets.
