They are already are brining the roads which is great as long as it doesn't rain. They say there won't be ice, and they are somewhat more optimistic about the forecast.

We shall see.

They are calling for ice now. The forecast has changed in the last 24 hours from a lot of dry snow to less wet snow and wintry mix. Which means since it has been below freezing for most of the last few days it is going to stick on the roads. They have been brining the highways around me every night for the last three nights, I'm sure they are doing even more around jerryworld.

Yeah man.. i'm definitely out lol

one of my buddies who's an tosu almunus... is still making the trip.. he arrives tomorrow afternoon.. but he got an hotel like 3 miles from the stadium

If you get here before midnight tonight and stay close in arlington then you would be fine. Not a great neighborhood around Jerryworld and I'm sure what is there is way overpriced right now, but tickets are almost free at this point and I bet with cancellations the hotels and VRBO's are too. Then you don't have to be on any elevated roadways and would be find.

I was thinking about that too.. but i'm staying in.. from some of my UT boards.. many are traveling today.. Still think it will be a good turnout.
 
Before the season started, I called Texas v tOSU in the CFP final. We’ll see if I’m right but for the bracket seeding.

Texas 17

How is this line hanging out at 5.5 or 6? This feels like Ohio State should win handily and perhaps even blow them out.

To me this seems like the strongest team left versus the weakest of the four but that’s why they play the games I suppose.

In Texas, Texas has top notch DLine, top notch DB's

Texas has trouble putting teams away, but they've also only had one stinker this year and that was back in October. They find ways to win. Ewers probably has a higher ceiling that Howard. Sark is a good coach.

Ohio State is rolling, but a two-game sample size could mean they revert back to how they were playing in the regular season (I don't see that happening)

I like the Bucks by two scores like you do, but people are probably overrating OSU and underrating UT a bit right now

I don't expect tOSU to drop the gift INT's that Ewers like to put out there. tOSU should have at least 3 INTs in this game.

That is the key for Texas. OSU has great defense, the one thing they have not been great is causing turnovers. That said Texas is the dumbest team in the playoffs. They are ranked in the 120s in turnovers lost and 90s in penalties. One of my keys is stop doing dumb shit and they can win. That and actually play 4Qs of good football. They won 13 games and I would be hard pressed to come up with game they played 3Q of good football.

Correct.. closest games we played all the way were 3 Qtrs.. at UM..at home vs UF.. think that's pretty much it. Guess you can count ULM?

Do you guys have a big, physical back, someone who can push the pile for extra yards? Or do you have more homerun type RB's?

The physical backs can wear down Ohio throughout the game.

I'm excited to watch this game more than any other game. Texas is going to need to get their OL healthy and I think it will be a really good game. Texas will have to try and do what Michigan did and use their front 4 to try and pressure Ohio. If you have to bring more than 4 -- it makes it so hard to stop them, as all their WR's can beat 1 on 1 coverage.

Blue is the homerun RB.. Wisener is our most physical but undersized RB.. CJ Baxter, who we lost in fall camp, was our bigger back.. Also our best blocking RB too
