TX / tOSU scores & discussion

absolutely he will. And he won't be punished for them, so prepare yourn anuses
I'm well aware of the fact that Texas will almost certainly be called for fewer than 1-2 penalties, that's how our whole season has gone. What I can't handle is some fuckrag player going after our studs because he's not good enough to play man up. It still boggles my mind that targeting wasn't called against ASU. Like, that is the quintessential targeting call, it's why the rule was made to begin with.

Questionable targetting against Ohio State people be like "that's the rules they have to call it"

That clear targeting in the ASU Texas game "you don't make that call in that situation"

Nothing worse than fans whining about targeting. The one not called on Bond was way worse. I thought they would call it, because it is how some refs call football these days. I would never whine about targeting on a form tackle. You hit face mask to offensive players helmet, while wrapping up and I don’t want targeting called

That's not what happened in the case everyone is upset about.

Go watch and tell me Taafe is not wrapping up on the tackle. This wasn’t leading with the crown of the helmet or launching. It was a form tackle.

It's a fucking stupid rule. They need to completely re-work it to apply to only CLEARLY malicious reckless hits. Not bang bang plays where the defender is often screwed by the offensive player lowering their head at the last second after the defender is already engaged.

As in, he's not good enough to go 1 on 1 against our skill position players and will likely take cheap shots at them?
yikes.. scared of a cheap shot?

Texas by 10...

They should, but they won't. They would lose their ability to influence games.

You know we have penalties problems. Your take is stupid.

A team that has problems committing penalties vs the teams dead last in having their opponents being called for penalties. Something has gotta give

We are in a distant last place in all of college football in opponent total penalties and penalty yards per game. Opposing OL's haven't been called for holding on us since it was 96 degrees out in Columbus (vs Marshall in mid-September), and we're currently on day 5 of snow cover and it's 24 degrees out. My take is the opposite of stupid.

If he launches at Smith's helmet or rips Henderson's helmet off by the facemask, I'll see to it that he's buried under Jerryworld by the end of the weekend.

He launched, went high. End of story. He was headhunting.

Yeah looks like you guys are 98th. Not all that much better than 134

I laughed when like 5 ND fans tried that after the bad PI call last night. They didn't really commit
Yeah that one guy was able to clean them all up. Though he was so weak he had to kick one aluminum bottle twice to get it off the field.
