The weather in San Diego may be the best anywhere I’ve been. But Napa/Sonoma is also nice. Napa is a city just not huge.

Here’s a quick one about SD.

Son of our best friends from EP was the CFO at the Marriott Marquee Marina for several years. Went to visit him one year and he told us two things he found strange in SD. “No one gets up before 10:00 am so just sleep in. Everyone in SD has money but no one has a job.”

They did but the # of conference home games changed when they moved to the Big Ten. Moving things around and continuing the series with OSU worked out this time. I dont necessarily think they will do that every year.

Personally, I’m for continuing to play OSU every year. It’s important for the state IMO. That said, should we look at OSU as the premier opponent on our schedule? That really depends on the trajectory of their program and whether they can get in a major conference. If they are a G5 caliber program, the conversation about playing in Corvallis could come up (unfortunately IMO)

We are so scared of Oregon we played them a couple years ago and beat them 49-3. Really scared of Oregon.

We travel west just fine … Colo, ASU, UCLA until they pussied out. You think us playing you in SLC, or Vegas would have made a difference, Lol? What, 42-10 instead?

Actually it should have been a 2 for 1 deal in Georgia’s favor based on fan attendance alone. Georgia made out better as I doubt UCLA could afford to pay for their visit anyway.

If you don't know why the games were canceled, you aren't very smart.

And why would we ever be scared of Oregon? You have an empty trophy case, got a 49-3 ass whipping that last time we played, and we have never lost to you. Win something, then come back and flap your gums.
