UCLA IS In $103 Million Debt

College football fans are extremely joyous Texas didn’t head West!!

After all, Texas has positioned itself to swoop into the SEC and to ease all those SEC woes of being Nationally irrelevant in the world of college football!!

Yes Texas will save the SEC and show doubters everywhere that this thing the called the LHN is what’s best for all college football teams everywhere. The world praises your actions and inactions at the same time!
LOL... sorry we broke you bud..

Then this happened

Nebraska 69
Oklahoma 7

I randomly watched this video since you posted it. I just scrolled through the video, stopping at random spots, and one comment by Musburger has me thinking in today's current climate. He commented that coaches say it is hard with only 85 scholarships...

With NIL being what it is, and all this money that is now being pumped into CFB, has the NCAA thought about increasing the scholarhship amount? I mean with all this money involved in the programs and schools, shouldn't MORE opportunities be given to student athletes everywhere and give out MORE free education?

Scholarships should be at like 125 with all the money these schools and programs are making. Why are they limiting the scholarships?

Is that official from USC, or is that from "A source with knowledge"?

If you're a 15 year old pimple face kid in his momma's basement looking for clicks on tweeter, just say "A source with knowledge" on every post. It'll find it's way to Hoopla's college football forum.
To be honest I read so much crap and read it so fast and move on I can't really source it and could have heard it on the radio. The thought was that they wanted to lock up the west coast recruiting and be the only game in town for California recruits that wanted to stay close to home. Sounded reasonable to me.

Not to mention Colorado is a better regional fit.

Also

1971 AP Final Poll

1. Nebraska (13-0)
2. Oklahoma (11-1)
3. Colorado (10-2)

Colorado's only two losses were Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Colorado is better than the one season they won a share of the natty in 1990.
I like your argument but I don't think anyone at the B1G shares it.

If they expand again (which won't happen until either ND decides to join or the ACC folds) they will be looking for picks that make noise. Oregon will make more noise than Colorado. You can like the pick but the perception will be about like when the SEC took Mizzou and the B1G took Rutgers.

Never happened and never will, but what did happen is you took a thread and jacked it and made it all about yourself and your team in an “If” fantasy - yet again!

I did read something about increasing scholly limits, but don't remember where. It was here.

BYU gives NIL to walk-ons iirc.
