GAME UGA @ MIZZOU 7:30pm ET SECN

You still have the best win IMO (the thrashing of Oregone looks better and better). Bama can argue, but Georgia and Bama are 1 & 2, either or.
Like everyone, we are banged up. But we have depth to handle it.

If I had to pick one group that needs to get their shit together, it would be the OL. 3 weeks to get that straightened out. That will make the RBs better, and Stetson will be better when not being pressured. We have the skill, coaches need to get it going.

This is also the first week I didn't get what Monken was doing. It was obvious their DL was all over our OL. He didn't react as quickly as I would have hoped.

Two straight weeks the queers of Athens have struggled. Any team from another conference would drop in the rankings this week. Does uga? Doubtful
I can pretty well guarantee you Bama will be ranked number one. Which is fine. Only morons over react to teams when they play their worst or their best

Bama will probably get the bump up, and I might even bump Ohio State up to two in my rankings. I don't think there is a wrong way right now to order those three. It's early enough that you can ask questions on all of them while still seeing they all have strong teams. We saw Bama bounce back and show dominance against Arkansas but struggle when Young went down a little bit. Georgia hasn't done what they were expected to do to teams the last two weeks but they have the next two weeks at home to get back on track against a reeling Auburn and a bad Vanderbilt. I fully expect them to do that.

At the end of the day, I just want my team in the top 4. that gives them their shot

I wouldn’t argue too much if UGA got bumped to 3. As far as I’m concerned, last night has the potential to be the best thing that could have happened to this team. A game where they played bad and had to really fight to escape with a win. It’s a very talented, but very young team, and that can be a damn good teaching moment

At the end of the day, I don’t worry about style points as long as they win the game.

You saw their potential when they played Oregon, but you saw their inexperience and areas for improvement last night. Everything is still in front of them.

In all seriousness. Doesn’t really matter. Win all your games and your in. Rankings be damned.

No team ever goes thru the season without close calls. However struggling two straight weeks against sub par competition, it’s fair to start having some questions. I think it’s pretty important next week for them to come out and make a statement against auburn and not let this spiral.

I agree 100%.

But the sky isn’t falling either

One of the most important things Kirby could have learned off of Saban is how to get his team going again after they get punched in the mouth. Saban is really good at that, whether it's from game to game or even from one season to the next.

I kind of like the old school idea of having the defending champion at #1 until they actually lose.

Your D played lights out until they got worn down in the 4th. They were a handful. That KSU loss looks better, they are legit. The Auburn loss is unexplainable. We were lucky to head home with a W. Great game! Next week's game against UF will be interesting if you play D like you did tonight.
The defense actually played good against Kansas St. We held them to 334 total yards, one of their TD's was aided by a blatant holding tackle on the edge. I know holding can be called on every play, but those type of holdings...have to be called. Mizzou QB's threw 4 TD's and 2 of those if thrown correctly....were easy TD's. Defense forced KSU to 3 straight FG's after the INT's and KSU even missed one of them.

We seem to play well vs Florida, so we shall see. If we could get anything from our QB it would be helpful. I am just hoping freshman Sam Horn is the real deal. We do have another 4 star QB coming in next year as well.
