if i were you id take the fish and find a temp tank and do a complete drain on that one then id fill it up and keep the plants out maybe find some 5 gal buckets for them to live in (drift wood too) then start adding back little by little til you find the culprit.
The water seems fine though, it's clear when looking down into the tank. Before I do anything drastic I will try to learn how to control it. I just have to figure it out. I knew with these powerful lights that algae could be a problem. Draining it only if all else fails!

I mean obviously these things are no easy undertaking so definitely give it your best but at some point it may be deemed less work to "start over" than to keep fighting it. i suspect the soil for the plants are contributing a good bit of nutrients but that is just a suspicion of mine without any way to prove it so take that for what it is

I got my problem solved!
What I did was I looked again! And I found some sorta okay tasting Peach whiskey, artificially flavored. My son said it's flavored with the same stuff medicine is flavored with. And by golly, I don't know if that's a problem or not!
I'd also like to talk about my fish tank. I have ten gold fish and I thought it would be a good idea to get rid of at least two of them.
I even had two picked out to be rid of. However I had a change of heart that caused a change of mind and I already named my last two swimmers!
I been wanting to tie one on for a few days now and I was 'trying' to drink this Absolut (garbeej) Mandrin crap and it just wasn't meant to be. Because my Bunny is coming home tomorrow so I thought during her absence would be a good time to get drunk.
I didn't even miss my Bunny thanks to my wall project keeping me busy all week. I can't wait to listen to all her stories! We only texted a few times during the week and I'm sure she had the time of her life. I only texted her after she texted me first. She gets a super long rope with me, she always has.
