7. So I started with one Kiddie Pond and Made Purchase of two additional pools... How does that stack up?

What I got was about a Buck 80 tied up in these three Kiddie Ponds. So another way to look at it is, an insurance policy, Two of 'em, in Case of a Catastrophic Catastrophy!

In the Main Tank, those three new 34 cent feeders, Pondalicious, Lemon Pepper and Lake Superior, they all 3 are small and growing fast.

I have a problem with Lake Superior. I thought he was going to be mostly 'Brownish' colored, sorta what the color of a wild carp sports. But he has really shined up with more orange tinting that I would like. I want a Brown Gold Fish! And I actually have another one in the Kiddie Pond and Her name is Erie Canal and I chose Lake Superior for the Main Tank because I DID think he was Brownish plus he has a sleeker build than Erie Canal. Erie Canal, also small at this point is a more full bodied swimmer but I'm pretty sure She has that Shiny Brownish color I'm after! Listen Friends, if you took the time to read that, I WILL post pics of all Aforementioned Swimmers in an hour or so Eastern Time!

This first pic is Lemon Pepper. He is still bashful and won't hang around the main group yet. For a 34 cent feeder, I think he will get quite showy when he grows up with those black splotches and especially the black tail!

This is Root Beer Candy in the middle and his colors have improved since his inclusion. He is one of the $3.50 Calico variety and he too will be super showy when he grows up with his silver & bronze sheen!

And finally here is Danarys again! Her temperament is very different from all the other Koi and Goldfish. She isn't the least bit intimidated by her tank mates but she is SO laid back compared to all the other swimmers. She's a Butterfly Koi which means she was bred to have flowing fancy fins but it seems the body shape is quite different too, from a regular Koi.

What I really need to get accomplished today is to finish Muh Sermon For Tomorrow's Fancy Ass Mass Under the Porch!

Hear Me WORSHIP, Mother Fockers and Please Pass the Sacrament! What I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna take the Power Wheels out for inspiration! The Plan is to stop at the Cloud Nine Bible Study Store and stock up on the BEST Sacrament on the Entire Bible Scene!

I wonder if Padre is back from Hawaii yet? I got 'eem on Half-Ignore so that I can still read him but he can't read me.

I wanted to explain to Muh Dummies the REAL reason Padre is in Hawaii... it's not what he says... Padre fibbed and tole erbody he was there for the 7/11 Managers Convention. Somethin about maximizing profits on Slurpees and whatnot...

It's not true, None of it! Padre is in Hawaii for the upcoming Crew Meeting!

I went ahead and emptied that pool this evening. And I put Pecker back in one of the True Kiddie Pools along with the 3 Pondington Sisters. The Best Part, I was able to isolate Erie Canal and drop her in the Main Tank and she took to it right the F now!

I started to drain it like this:

But that was taking to long so I put my foot down!

And tomorrow I will try to get some help and get three or four more wheelbarrows of fill dirt to level the ground further away from the house. and if it goes well, I can get the 10 foot - 1,018 gallon filled UP!!!!

If you're going to be doing this draining often enough, buy a cheap sump pump and drop er in (hook up a flexible hose to discharge with hose clamps)
 
Here is a good picture of Lake Superior in the upper left and Erie Canal lower right. Lake S. was about the same shade as Erie but Lake S. really took on a nice hue of orange, kinda melon colored!

And Erie Canal, my hope is she keeps that drab coloration, sorta brassy/green and it will develop a sheen as she grows up.
