Under the Porch with the Guide Bear!

I haven't done much with my tank in the past few days, I was waiting for the last batch of plants to get delivered and then I will re-arrange everything again, and see how it goes. I wasn't expecting these plants for another three days but they just arrived. I have to get busy.

Here is the tank how it looks today. I did move one of the 200 watt plates so that both plates are each in the middle sections of the tank.

Hey Friends, a very good morning to you!

I can start the wall to wall project today and that is exciting, no shit, none whatsoever! There isn't much lately that makes me happier than when I'm building something. It boggles the mind that I am a MUCH better builder as a clumsy cripple than when I was a strapping able bodied beast! I willed it to happen. I made it happen because I wanted it real bad.

I am a Clumsy Bad-Ass, hear me ROAR!

Okay, it's hobby talk time and I got pics too! A Good Time Shan't be Denied!

Have you cleaned the inside of the glass with one of them magnet cleaners? Some of what looks hazy may be where the dust adhered to the inside of the glass.

Your tank looks awesome though. You did a very good job of constructing that huge tank. That's something you can take pride in and don't let anyone discourage you from trying to do anything because of your disability. You may be disabled but you are definitely not lazy.

Good job Brother...and thanks for sharing your project with the forum. I always look forward to updates on this thread....it's been a treat following the progress.

No, I don't have a magnet cleaner and I thought I'd get some of those tools, not really a tool, one of those long handled brushes for cleaning the shower walls? But anyway, thanks for the kind words, Holy Smokes!

What makes me the proudest is that I pegged you (correctly!) as an engineer! :laugh:

Hey friends, it's me again. I didn't work today like I said I would. I always do my morning routine and today, I was just too tired from keeping long hours the past few days and it really caught up to me today and I went back to bed and slept till 3:30 PM Eastern!

I'm still undecided if I want to start tomorrow or wait till Monday to start the wall project, when Bunny will be back at work.

I gotta check up my buddies here! I'm really curious who else is on the Crew? I ASSUMED @NU_FTW was a crew member but that exchange he had with the Crew Leader Petey G., man alive, I may have bean mistaken!

Padre and Petey G. are my heroes! Those two are difference makers.

I am not now, nor have I ever, been in any part of a crew. @Handicappers and @dbldwn711 like to troll me with that tired ass shtick. Misery loves company you know?

I'm gonna go ahead and start the wall project today. I'm gonna take it a little easier on this build, there's no rush to get it done and so yeah, all is well!

Even me & Bunny are finally figuring some things out so that we can be happy with each other again.

And the VA is really helping a lot. Yes, I am in talk therapy but Dr. Dean has also hooked me up with a handful of programs to help me have a fuller life. She wants me to be a mentor too!

Okay friends, I will check back in this evening, Peace & Love! But first I have to check in on Pete's upstairs project.
