Urban thinks tOSU has most talented roster in CFB

I think UF has a losing record an an interim coach in the final game of the season.

I could see them being 4-1 heading into the game @ Tennessee (Split the Miami and A&M games) and of course theyd be hyping them up as "POSSBILY BACK!" Before losing 6 of their last 7 games or even all 7

That's where we differ, I see them 1-4 going into the Tennessee game. They are going to be that bad. I don't see any way they beat Miami, A&M, MissSt, or UCF.

The argument against scheduling was 1 loss could knock you out. That isn’t the case anymore. You schould want a solid OOC game to prepare for the conference slate. Ohio State is going to go into October without knowing what kind of team they have.

1 or even 2 Losses likely isn't going to knock the Ohio State/Bama/Georgia types out in most years.

This is a rare year where we don't have at least some decent team on our OOC schedule. 25/26 we play Texas and 27/28 we play Bama

Miss State looks like they are going to be terrible, UCF is a game they could lose but teams like UCF tend to flop in these types of games.

Miami and A&M I don't care that they are ranked preseason, we know how this always goes with both those schools, they are both liable to finish .500 or below as well.

If the choice was between a 9-3 Florida and 10-2 Ohio State for the final spot, I would be picking Florida in the hypothetical

How are we even hypothetically talking about Florida, a team that went 5-7 last year and doesn't really look like it'll improve much going 9-3 this year with a tougher schedule than they had last year? The whole argument is ridiculous to begin with.

are you a woman?
No but I have learned in my years not to argue with an idiot because they will drag you to their level and beat you with experience.

I don’t like A&M, but the range on their record is huge. They have some legit talent. Their season likely comes down to injuries and OL. Kentucky is sleeper team in the SEC.. If they figure out the offense and the 5 star QB transfer looks like a 5 star, that is a dangerous team. Defense has NFL players at every level

Because you said they didn’t deserve to be in if they went 9-3, despite me saying it was not happening

Are you sad because I called Texas A&M mediocre?

UCF 6-7 Last Year
Miss State 5-7
Miami 7-6
Texas A&M 7-6

These teams are all factually mediocre.

I do t

I'll believe A&M is anything but mediocre when they actually show it on the field.

I am hoping you are right. I don’t think they have the depth to make it through the season, but you never know how injuries work. Some years they kill you and some years you get lucky.

Their schedule is pretty favorable when it comes to SEC schedules

They don't have to play Bama Oklahoma UGA or Ole Miss

They had a favorable schedule last year in hindsight too though and they ended up 7-6

I will say this...if a team goes undefeated in this format it will be extremely impressive. That team will likely get a bye in the CFP but we are talking 16-0 and for a non-power 5 17-0

It's probably pretty likely we get a 2 loss champion before a 16-0.

they were robbed on that fumble return. should have been a TD
What if I told you Clemson punts on the next play and OSU scores anyway on the next drive to take the lead with 11:46 left on the clock? :noidea:

Yep. Should have beaten Clemson in the Semi IMO. They were the better team, but had to settle for a lot of FG's. Them and 2019 LSU might have been the best two teams of that decade.
And at the end of the day, the better coach team won.
TBF some of the OSU talent like Fields, Wade, Okudah was a bit overhype. No chance they keeping up with Chase and Jefferson
