USC and UCLA planning to leave for B10 by 2024!

B1G 20:

Big 10 East:

Rutgers
Maryland
Penn State
Ohio State
Michigan

Big 10 North:

Michigan State
Notre Dame
Purdue
Indiana
Northwestern

Big 10 Central:

Wisconsin
Iowa
Illinois
Minnesota
Nebraska

Big 10 West:

UCLA
Usc
Stanford
Oregon
Washington

Play 10 conference games. The 4 in your division. Rotate between the other 4. Play a permanent opponent from another division for rivalry purposes ex: Michigan vs. Michigan State, ND vs. USC, Illinois vs. NW, etc... Fill out with one more conference game. East winner plays North Winner, Central winner plays West winner, winners play in the B1G CG at rotating locations, like the Rose Bowl, Indy, Minneapolis, Detroit, and Chicago.
Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State all in the same 5 team division? Why not throw in Notre Dame and Michigan State too?

How do I put in a request to be in the Big 10 Central?

That is already close to the current situation lol

If UCLA and USC wanted to make playoffs, they picked the wrong league. B1G has 2 National Championships this Millenia in Football and 0 in Basketball.
Question? Does the rest of the SEC ever get tired of riding the coat tails of Bama and Georgia?

LSU won it in 2019. That is very recent history. Hell, I pointed this out, this Millenia there are 7 current or future teams that have won titles, only 2 current/future teams from B1G (Ohio State and USC).

Since 1990, there are 4 current and future B1G teams and 8 current or future SEC teams.

Hell you have to go back to pre-television days to get even close on teams that have won it or competed at a high level.

It is the same, but we already have MSU too. If you are going to 5 team pods -- You don't put zero of the big 3 in one division and 3 in another. The "Central Division" would be, by far, the weakest division.

OU fans gotta be loving this. Lincoln ran away from tSEC to the softer pastures of the PAC only to now face the prospect of B1G football in the winter.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
BIGW is Sunbelt level at football.

I don't think you will find anyone arguing that the SEC footprints is grossly more talented in terms of recruiting than anywhere else. That being said -- Bama is the one carrying the SEC. Georgia has a chance to take over that role.

But it is always 'the other schools' in the SEC who are the loudest about the SEC.

Even prior to Alabama being good, the SEC had a 3-in-a-row National Title Run with Florida/LSU. There are other teams definitely carrying the league.

You have to go back to ancient history to find someone in the B1G doing anything on the national scene not named Ohio State. Maybe USC can help you guys out if they can get things turned around.

Colorado will go to the Big 10.
The initial grab of USC/UCLA makes sense since the realignments have followed a pattern of consolidating bluebloods for eyeball anchors.

UCLA is USC's rival so it made sense to grab them. That may have even been a USC demand.

Late Nov rivalries on national tv when I was a kid and there were only 3 channels available (ABC, NBC, CBS) were Ohio St/Michigan, Alabama/Auburn, Nebraska/Oklahoma, USC/UCLA.

Big 10
Ohio St
Michigan
Penn St
Nebraska
USC

SEC
Alabama
Tennessee
Oklahoma
Texas

There's 9 of the 10 winningest programs right there.
The last anchor out there to be had is Notre Dame, but they seem to have been too snub nosed elitist, got behind the curve, and got themselves trapped into an ACC GOR deal through 2036. The TX/OU Big 12 buyouts pale in comparison.

Oregon will likely end up Big 10 at a later date, but I see Washington going first, since Washington has a historically more prestigious program.

I see the next Big 10 move being Colorado/Kansas for geography.

You will have to ask the others about Bama. Gus beat Saban more than the rest of the conference's coaches combined. We were UGA's bitch before it was cool.

Georgia is gonna pass Tennessee and USC on the all time wins list this year.

I am just busting their bubble (and probably trolling a little) that they are a Financial Powerhouse of a league but not a Powerhouse on the Field.

Sadly, the leagues they are poaching such as ACC and Pac12 have actually been more competitive on the Football Field than the B1G but credit to B1G fanbases, they are loyal and bring $$$$.

So all the fans on these boards should pat them on the back for keeping the B1G afloat despite the fact it has been a one-team league this Millenia.

Then flip it with Michigan State, if you're too much of a pussy.

The SEC has the tejas Board of Regents on speed dial right now looking to get tips on most effective ways to destroy a conference. i.e. The ACC
