USC and UCLA planning to leave for B10 by 2024!

You clearly stated the ACC and PAC 12 are being poached.

Who's currently poaching the ACC?

Possibly Clemson and Florida State to the SEC or anyone B1G wants. Sure, they would wait until GOR is over.

However, Maryland has already happened so yes they have been poached. Stop wordsmithing.

I am just busting their bubble (and probably trolling a little) that they are a Financial Powerhouse of a league but not a Powerhouse on the Field.

Sadly, the leagues they are poaching such as ACC and Pac12 have actually been more competitive on the Football Field than the B1G but credit to B1G fanbases, they are loyal and bring $$$$.

So all the fans on these boards should pat them on the back for keeping the B1G afloat despite the fact it has been a one-team league this Millenia.

It's right there.

If you don't think ACC schools are not asking around, you are in denial. Also, Maryland wasn't that long ago in the scheme of things and I think "is" is a very appropriate description.

However, if it makes you feel better, swap ACC with Big12. My post still fits. B1G hasn't been very competitive on the field as a league with the exception of Ohio State.

Possibly?
In 15 years?

LMAO

It's not wordsmithing when your statement "the leagues they are poaching such as ACC and Pac12" implies currently.

Nobody is poaching the ACC currently.

You got a credible link for ACC schools asking around?

Maryland was before the ACC GOR. I was clear about that from the onset. They simply don't apply.
To imply the Maryland move has any correlation to todays landscape is stupidity at best.

Oregon and UW are fucked if ND doesn't join the B1G. Makes things interesting if ND doesn't join.

Last post but it definitely has impact on the perception as all of the media is referencing ACC schools being poached. No one is talking about ACC poaching anyone and most media and even fans are speculating the ACC will be torn apart soon.
You have heard of the phrase, Perception is Reality?

If, for some reason, Clampson and FSU made the move to the SEC, the ACC would likely cease to exist. They would pay a huge penalty, but other schools like Virginia and UNC would look to move to the B1G, which could render the long-term GOR useless.

That said, no single school will leave the ACC on its own. Only way those schools get poached is if its an en masse situation that effectively destroys the conference and the GOR along with it.

That's purgatory you protestant heathen.

i thought it was heaven?

They also said TX/OU would be playing in the SEC in 2022.

You're a sucker for clickbait, right?

Do you mean if ND DOES join the B1G?

Either way, it's interesting. I was just under the assumption ND would join given USC and UCLA have, but if they don't, everything else will probably stay the same. ND will have options either way.

I won't lie, there is a charm about that region of the country. Then again, I love visiting some of the rural south and I am just a fan of green and not gray (or perhaps Yellow for that part of the country).

That's why I said the SEC's got the tejas Board of Regents on speed dial for tips on how to destroy a conference.
