I have a tree in my front yard that I've been threatening to cut down for years. It's got those smaller, pain in the ass leaves and it's a big tree.

It's been a little warmer fall than normal, so the leaves are still on it for the most part. But the weather just got colder, so in a couple of weeks or so, it'll start dumping them.

Even though we live in a neighborhood, I have 7 trees on my property. It absolutely sucks this time a year. I just spent 3 hours Tuesday clearing my front yard, side and back yard up of those leaves and putting them out front for the township to pickup. Today it looked like I didn’t pick up a single leave yet in the back or side.

Weather here this week was in the 70’s. Tomorrow’s high is supposed to be 50. I expect the rest of these little fuckers will be down by Monday.

Oh man. I feel lucky now. I only have 3 to deal with and only one is bad. The other 2 will dump their leaves soon. But they are smaller tress but have bigger leaves. They'll pretty much lose all of theirs at one time and be done with it.

The one in the front yard likes to drag that shit out. lol

I’ve got 2 smaller ones in the front that dump little reddish brown leaves. (I’m not a tree or leaf expert I have no clue what they are called) and 5 around the side and back. Those fuckers are big and dump a ton of yellowish brown leaves.

It can get tough around the back because I have a fenced in yard and the access to get out is a single door along the fence. So I can’t make the pile on the tarp too big or it won’t fit out the fence door.

It really sucks man but it is what it is.

Hopefully they provide good shade in the summer.

That's the one redeeming quality of the pain in the ass in the front yard. It's big and placed in the right spot so it provides good shade.

The back ones and side ones absolutely do. It works out well In the Summer.

Only thing is the front of the house faces north. There are some days especially in the fall and winter that the sun doesn’t touch the whole front yard. An my front yard isn’t big ethier, it can get kind of chilly towards the front of the house at those times.
