TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!

Texas should win, however in this game, current form, SoS, etc rarely mean anything. It wouldn't be the first time one of them went in favored (even heavily) and walked out with an L.

More Historical Trivia for this game:

All Time Record wins/loses
Oklahoma 47
Texas 55
Ties 5

Since 1929/when the Cotton Bowl became the permanent venue
Oklahoma 42
Texas 48

Since the AP Era started in 1936

Since the End of WWII in 1946
Oklahoma 39

Since the AP crowned the NC after the Bowl Games in 1968
Oklahoma 29
Texas 23

Since the Big 12 was formed in 1996

Now, I'm no maff major, but there looks to be a trend in those number.

i actually hope it's a tight game.. not just for the excitement but for UT to go through some adversity.. UT was down to Bama to begin the 4th qtr, but it just felt like you knew they were going to score to retake it.. Wyoming being tied in the 4th qtr in a classic let down spot, never felt like they were going to pull it off and 3 minutes later it was 31-10.. KU had this at a 3 pt deficit, but I never thought they were going to pull it out and they didn't.

I know if UT plays a B plus game this week, they will cruise.. hoping ou forces them into playing an A game.

This is gonna be @Wishbone, @Goldbug and @outofyourmind at 2:30pm Saturday
Honestly, this game is a heaving crap shoot. OU's looking a lot different this year. We would have lost at least 1 game already, maybe 2, with last year's D and probably 1 game with Muleshoe's D. They just have a whole different mentality now and can shift gears when they need to do it. And Dillion Gabriel is playing the best football of his career. If OU's got a weakness, it's the running game. So far it just hasn't been anything to write home about. I know you're pumped but I've got a feeling that if this game is close in the 3rd quarter then Texas is going to lose it. Texas needs to jump out ahead by a couple of scores and keep OU on the ropes if they are going to get the W.

guess you missed out that UT is a 2nd half team now

Or, you've played like hammered shit in a couple of games and were looking bad until late in those games before finally clicking and pulling away. It's why I said if Texas is in a close game this Saturday they won't be "pulling away" from OU. Won't happen. You need to get up on us by a couple of scores and keep OU on the ropes. If you do that then you're golden. But F around and let Oklahoma stay even with you or a little bit up and it's going to be a L. The OU D is a lot better and DG has hit his stride. Just hope neither team has key injuries because neither of us are great shakes past the starters.
