Scoreless fucking tie.

Win this motherfucker and it shows we're legit.....not sure how good Washington is.

INT in triple coverage

I mean about going to the games. No reason this game should NOT be sold out.
Yea, the fill maybe a quarter of the stadium is pathetic with this matchup

You know, I am going to say it...

In my opinion, if they cannot get fans out for their games when they are good, they should be relegated to FCS level. I don't care how good their team is on the field.

UCLA up, 7-0.

Bruins defense looking pretty stout

Looks like the game vs South Alabama was an eye opener and Chip took the team to task.

We have played a lot better since that game.

UCLA looking really good early

Solid drive there for Utah

Far be it from me to defend UCLA, however...

2 things:

1. That must have sounded smarter in your head.

2. UCLA has 2 main issues that hurt football attendance. One is, they are a basketball school first and foremost. The other (and main problem) is that their stadium is in a different city, and it's about 30-40 minutes from campus when there is no traffic. On game day, it's more like 90 minutes to 2 hours. Also, when it was built, it was essentially built for one game per year. So getting in and out can be a real pain in the ass. Once you get in, it's a beautiful setting and tailgating on a golf course is kinda cool. But dealing with that for every game would suck.

Until they get an on campus stadium, this is what they'll be dealing with. Problem is, the surrounding area has a lot of rich folks, so there's a lot of NIMBY. The "It'll create jobs and help the local economy" pitch doesn't really work on those folks.

Still, to have a mostly empty stadium is embarrassing for a major program. USC has similar problems but they are drawing respectable crowds. I think USC is also the elephant in the room as well.

All good points.

I went there only once, back in 2000, and I remember it was a 'cool' stadium, but a pain in the ass to get in/out.

It is a pain in the ass, and it sucks for them, and the conference, that they can get people to watch their undefeated team.
