Flying out to Colorado on Friday for my wife's family reunion.

Apparently the woman who reached out to my wife a few months ago about being an unknown half cousin has gotten in touch with my wife's uncle's sons, and we might even get to meet her while we're out there. Should be interesting.

Weekend was nice. Minor league game Saturday after a brewery, then Phillies game yesterday. Home team won both, so we remain undefeated going back a bit now.
 
Ok weekend. Saturday was my aunts funeral, maybe 30-40 people there, most of whom I didn't know (her side of the family). Gave my condolences to my cousin and uncle, and outside of that. Service was only a half hour but still felt dragged one, they played three songs over speakers and final prayer I thought concluded at least 3 times but still kept going

left right after funeral and went to lunch with a buddy.

Yesterday was Mrs Pnk birthday, she still isnt the celebratory mood, we had breakfast and a quiet day at home. Got some rain in the afternoon.

Practiced getting around for school today. Grand & Lil W did awesome. School starts Thursday. Have a feeling we will all crash early tonight. Hoping we close on the other house this week. Work should be busy too.

morning

good weekend down here split between DC and MD.

Went to the Citi Open in DC on Friday night and saw some good tennis.

Spent Saturday chilling at the pool reading then to a brewery for the night.

Went kayaking yesterday and picked some crabs back home in MD on Sunday.
 
I just read that Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" is raking in about $14 million in ticket sales every show. Is she passing Michael Jackson as the biggest pop star in history?

She's getting close. The Fed is noting that there are noticeable jumps in hotel bookings for her tour dates, as well.
 
Rainy Monday here and back at work on a regular schedule.

We had some employees travel to a conference that was at same time as Taylor Swift concert, hotels were ridiculously expensive

As crazy as it is to say, I think she's going to easily pass him and may already be. Social media today allows this massive cult following to grow more than Michael Jackson ever could.

They are holding a special election here tomorrow. Typically these are very low turnout but they are proposing making amendments to the state constitution and changing what "majority" would mean so could be interesting

I've seen a bit of that.

I'm sure more candidates will join before november election, but I just find it funny right now there are 2 spots and 2 candidates...umm, I chose the two people running for the two available spots

I see a lot of that around here with small towns and villages. Lots of running unopposed
 
was going to go see Openheimer tonight but the only showtime for the fancy not-quite-iMax theater is at 7 and I have an morning.

so...I guess we are gonna cook some salmon and maybe watch the Mario movie
