Vegas giving Tennessee no respect? (+7.5)

I am leaning towards the OSU ML....I don't trust -7.5 points. Think it will come down to a FG.

Bet the house and go opposite.....
ML is terrible odds. Not worth it. Tease the Vols (+13.5) with another game lol

That douche doesn't need any encouragement.

We're on page 8. WhoPhoneDis injected Michigan into the thread on page 2.
Since then it's been post after post/page after page of Ohio St/Michigan.
I can't believe you are still holding a grudge, just because i was 1,000,000% correct when i told you Nebraska moving to the B1G was the end of Nebraska ever being elite again. Don't shoot the messenger.

Would you feel better if I asked you about your big rivalry with Iowa? Did you guys play this year? Who won? Tell me about it.

More so, the OL. TEN will look to use the same gameplan as Michigan if they are smart and it fits their bill all year

I have little confidence in this game. Bad draw
This right here. I think Tennessee was the worst draw for Ohio. Every other team they could have faced -- I think Ohio wins easily (SMU, Clemson, Indiana).
If Tennessee can do the same thing as Michigan and control the LOS without putting extra men in the box -- It will make things extremely tough on Ohio. That being said -- Ohio has way more experience at QB and will be interesting how Nico handles the pressure of the playoffs.

I think this will be a low scoring game and I think weather plays a role in the game too, as it is supposed to be 24 degrees with 10-15 MPH winds at kickoff. This isn't weather these kids are used to playing in at all.

Just stating a fact -- that is the only reason you are butt hurt. Be mad at your administration for selling you out, don't be mad at me for being right.

It is going to come down to the Ohio St OL. This game and if the move on. They looked so damn good when they had their OL. Impossible to fix now but guys can step up. I am not counting on it

Kinda surprised it’s stayed at 7.5 this late.

No chance I’m not taking the points if that hook remains tomorrow.

I'm surprised too. Ohio has a much bigger fan base, so they must be betting on Ohio to keep the number where it is at.

You also have people who look at a line and it doesn't look right and people go against their pick. 7.5 looks like way too many points.

Anytime I'm sure on a game because of the betting line -- the opposite always happens. I think this game will be a 24-20, 27-24 type of game. So bet the house on Ohio.

That’s just not true. You shit up this thread for 7 pages arguing about god knows what, but can’t be bothered to read the first two pages?

71% on money is on Tennessee and the points right now: College Football Public Betting Trends & Money Percentages

And @Peter Gozintite post that fan bases don’t affect spreads that much:

I think it’s a fair point on people going against their gut because it feels too high and something doesn’t seem right. I hadn’t considered that. There’s been a couple times this year where I have gotten burned (fuck you Colts TT under vs Steelers). I may wait until tomorrow. But still with the weather going to be cold and some wind, I’m shocked that thing isn’t down to 7.

It literally just went to 7 on DK lol

Has it been discussed that Tennessee has been a bad road team? Beat OU by 10, lost to Arkansas, game against UGA wasn't all that competitive, and then beat Vandy. I get the OU and Vandy wins are decent because Bama lost to both of them, but then that gets back to their best win being Bama, who is an even worse road team.

I think OSU will win fairly comfortable. Something by like 14 or so.

Not quite. Tenny mostly sucks at 1st qtrs & 4th qtrs. The middle 30 mins of the game is usually when UT has their moment in the sun.

Been that way the whole season.

If you see the public betting the large majority on one team -- more times than not -- the other teams wins or covers. It is bizarre, but Vegas knows what they are doing.

If this game was played in ideal conditions -- I think Ohio wins comfortably. I wouldn't be surprised if Vegas put the line up at 7.5 because Tennessee's QB has probably never been in 20 degree weather, let alone have to throw a cold, rock hard football in it.

Yep -- Day only completed 55% of his passes for 170 yards. And Day is the reason your drives started inside the 5, inside the 10 and inside the 15 yard line over and over. Day is also the reason for the int inside your 20 and inside our 20.

You threw the ball THIRTY THREE TIMES!!!!! THIRTY THREE!
Check out that down and distance for those throws. Too many were 3nd and long due to that horrible play calling.

As far as the int, it was also a dumb play call. Throw to the wide side? Just dumb.

Can't tell him he's wrong, come on now. He knows more about football than all of us combined.
