Voltswagen

Can't get confirmation on whether this is an April Fools joke or not

It might be a spoof along the lines of International House of Burgers.

I get strong feelings on these things (marketing geek with a marketing degree).

Even teasing a brand change for promoting something of the brand (whether it’s burgers or electric cars) is supremely dumb to me, and confusing as hell to consumers.

It’s just lazy and bad form.

It was confirmed as not true last night, per CNBC.

Auto companies have long had some fun come April 1st

Speaking of VWs....anyone ever owned a Tiguan or Atlas? Both of them have caught my wife's eye & she's seriously considering buying one.

Guerrilla marketing, nothing more.

I’ve not owned one, but lots of what I hear is that they have bad quality. Then again, I drive a 2016 Jetta and was told they had bad quality too, and it’s been more than fine.

SUVs? nope.

Maybe VW will lie about the amount of volts they use like the did with their TDIs.
