Earlier I listed the number of times I have been to the five Bowl Games (regardless of date) being played today.
Now, Here is a list of the number of times I have been to a Bowl Game on NYD itself. Not NYE, Not 1/2 (when the 1st falls on a Sunday), not 1/3 (for a Championship Game), etc. but NYD itself:
4 Gator Bowls (2001, 2003, 2007 and 2014)
3 Sugar Bowls (1980, 1985 and 1998)
3 Citrus Bowls (1993, 2011 and 2020)
2 Cotton Bowls (1997 and 2002)
2 Hall of Fame-* Bowls (1991 and 1992)
1 Rose Bowl (2010)
Interesting note, I have been to 4 Orange Bowls: 2001 (1/3), 2003 (12/31), 2014 (1/3) and 2018 (12/29), 3 Cotton Bowls: 1995 (1/2), 2006 (1/2) and 2022(12/31) and 1 Sugar Bowl: 1995 (12/31) that did not fall on NYD!
