It might be fine if you're a white couple and like it to get away from the blacks.....but we're not that. And while I have encountered some racist shit in CA, nothing like I have here.....several times she had to restrain me or I would have needed to be bailed out.

My brother's wife is black and have heard some of the same things from them, about both races. It's total bullshit no matter where it comes from.

It'll be outside Nashville.....Antioch, Brentwood, Franklin, or Hermitage.....Murfreesboro may be too far with the traffic to go into Nashville....

Those are the expensive suburbs, although mine is getting that way too.

Can be expensive but it's not as bad as a CA.....when we get ready to buy.....we should be able to get a nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath with about 1,600 square feet for 350-400k.

She has family in TN and her oldest daughter lives there.....Camp Lejeune, NC where our daughter is stationed is a 10 hour road trip away from the greater Nashville area.

As a BBQ bonus, when you drive to Camp Lejeune, you can do two things:
1. Cradle of ‘Cue: Stops on North Carolina’s Historic Barbecue Trail
2. The Barbecue Festival
