I used to love Nashville. Under normal circumstances, I'm usually down there 2-3 times a year. Seems to me it's getting a little too New Orleans for my tastes, and their homeless issue seems to be getting worse. Don't get me wrong, I still like visits, but I don't think I'd want to live there.

I'm sure there are nice suburbs, though.
