Bookie:
$ 1,000.00
morning

volleyball was not good yesterday. The first game went alright, but we lost a close one. The second one, the combination of players I had on the court just doesn't work for some reason and it really comes down to one couple who just doesn't communicate well when they play together. He's a big, college lacrosse player...and he just sucks at volleyball...

golf this afternoon.

Since we were talking about it last week, the Murdaugh murders took another crazy spin (although this was somewhat expected after some rumors last week). Dad planned his own shooting to try to get his son about $10 mil in insurance fraud. I'd say this has movie written all over it, but this is looking more like a 3+ season tv show. We've got like 5 deaths going back to 2015 and some insane story lines.

I was following this when it first started and didnt check in for a few days and now feel like I missed a bunch of episodes

We're at like the season 3 finale with a new season to be potentially renewed. Season 4 is the dad in jail and he still hasn't figured out how to stop killing people.

I mean, I guess you can make the case that with the substance abuse shit, he just didn't want to go on any longer, and wanted to leave his last son with something.

But its kinda hard to believe he wasn't behind it somehow.

My uneducated guess is that he got caught up in financial troubles trying to cover up the death of the gay kid, the house keeper, and then the chick his son killed. The wife found out about it. He killed her and the now-dead son got caught in the middle of it.

Soccer practice tonight. League has decided that our team wasn't exposed to COVID because the head coach thinks he caught it on Saturday. Going to focus on all sorts of things that involve keeping the kids apart for as long as possible tonight.

I was going to, but the broad said the narrator has an annoying voice, so I hadn't tried it yet. But she's been investigating the family for years, so its probably fairly informative.

an annoying voice is an immediate turnoff on a podcast, so I can get that
