Not sour grapes. If i remember correctly, Clawson already knew Hartman would be going somewhere else before last season ended, and wished him well and didn't blame him for leaving.

I get where he's coming from. Notre Dame hired a mercenary for a season and it didn't work out in the end. Notre Dame didn't do anything wrong, but from Wake's perspective it definitely would feel weird seeing someone else say they love your qb. Hartman will be remembered more fondly as Wake's qb, not Notre Dame's.
