Them scoring on one play helps Wake. They save their timeouts and they have time for a quick score and an onside. UNC player doesn’t score, they can probably eat all the clock. It’ll take a miracle, but outside of a 3 and out that was never gonna happen, that was the best thing Wake could have hoped for

I see what he is saying. Forcing time outs or running out the clock might have been more effective in this game. Obviously WF can score two touchdowns in that time limit, especially with 3 time outs.

they are in different divisions, so they rarely play these days. To combat that, they decided to schedule each other as non-conference opponents.
