A couple games I'm looking forward to this weekend:
Florida State vs. LSU - Obviously the best game of the weekend. Both of these teams come in with expectations to compete for a spot in the CFP and one of them will take a loss in week 1. The game last year was an instant classic as well.
North Carolina vs. South Carolina - I'm usually not a fan of neutral site games but this one feels different. Two teams with high-ish expectations going into the year. Both of them have quality QBs and the game is expected to be extremely close. This is the best game on Saturday IMO.
Boise State at Washington - One of the top teams in the MWC vs. One of the top teams in the PAC. Boise is pretty good defensively for the MWC, it will be interesting to see how they hold up vs. a top tier PAC 12 offense.
South Alabama at Tulane - A very underrated G5 vs. G5 battle. Tulane is the one getting all the preseason love because of their Cotton Bowl win but USA was also very good last year. USA nearly upsets Chip Kelly and UCLA last year losing 32-31.
Northwestern at Rutgers - Admittedly, this is a bit of a sicko matchup. But it should be a very close Big Ten game. I'll be watching.

3:42 comes awful early, especially when it’s to see the in-laws.
Just an observation and to those who don't believe the Name Brand thing. Check out the intro into Game Day. It happens too fast for me to count (and I'm too lazy to play it back in slow mo), but I'd bet the brief clips they show on the intro are 60% Name Brands, 90% Power 2 and the last 10% are ACC, Big 12 and Pac 12. Don't think I saw a G5 at all.
