I always liked the way nebraska fans carried themselves when they were a force. I respected how their fans would stand and clap for opposing teams that came in and played well enough to win.

Maybe things would be different now. It's a different era. Still would like to see it.

100% this except the "michigan has" part definitely need to see Oklahoma, Texas, Miami, Florida State, Nebraska, USC back to some form of dominance

Yeah, they've always been classy and seem to understand the game.

I witnessed something similar at an Odessa Permian (The Friday Night Lights team) game several years ago. Permian had a lot of success over the years and were in a playoff game at home in Odessa. They got beat but their fans gave them a better ovation after that loss than any of the games they'd won...at least the ones I had attended. Their fans KNEW they were totally out talented but played the hell out of their more talented opponent. Their fans appreciated that as much as their victories.
