Wiffle ball tournaments are a blast. Some friends of mine used to have what we called the "wiffle ball court" set up in their backyard. They had 2 sons who's birthdays were close enough together that every summer they'd have big a party for both birthdays.

Those parties always included a 4-6 team "tournament". The house, pool, etc. provided some fun obstacles and rules. For example, if a ball was going to land in the pool and someone dove and caught the ball before it hit the water...it was an inning ending play. A ball hit over the roof was a home run, but if the ball landed on the roof, rolled back and was caught...it was an out. lol

I used to be able to make a whiffle ball swerve all over the place. Pretty sure that's how I hurt my shoulder, just picking it up and flipping my elbow all sorts of directions to get the spin. But man could I make some dudes look silly when I would dip one down that jumped back up into the zone.

Well, Liberty didn't whip our butts as badly as I thought they would. Our boys were sloppy, but not terrible for a first game of the season.

Heck, we may actually win one of these four games.
