WAKE UP

I think ND actually had a super easy path. They faced almost no one in the regular season (and lost to NIU). Then they got lucky playing Indiana, who's biggest win was....7-5 Michigan....UGA is their most impressive win but we've seen the SEC is down this year. Penn State is another fraud who lost to every single significant team they faced except SMU and Boise St (lol -- now that's some luck in the playoffs).

IDK, I think they're just totally a fraud.

Three playoff wins including against the SEC's best, and they're a fraud? A "total" fraud?

IIRC, the last time a time a team won the National Championship that was not either the SEC Champion OR beat the SEC Champion in the Playoffs was 2005!

2006: Florida won the SEC and won the BCS
2007: LSU won the SEC and won the BCS
2008: Florida won the SEC and won the BCS
2009: Alabama won the SEC and won the BCS
2010: Auburn won the SEC and won the BCS
2011: Alabama won the BCS by beating SEC Champion LSU
2012: Alabama won the SEC and won the BCS
2013: Florida State won the BCS by beating SEC Champion Auburn
2014: Ohio State won the CFP after beating SEC Champion Alabama in the Sugar Semi
2015: Alabama won the SEC and won the CFP
2016: Clemson won the CFP by beating SEC Champion Alabama in the Final
2017: Alabama won the CFP by beating SEC Champion Georgia in the Final
2018: Clemson won the CFB by beating SEC Champion Alabama in the Final
2019: LSU won the SEC and won the CFP
2020: Alabama won the SEC and won the CFP
2021: Georgia won the CFP by beating SEC Champion Alabama in the Final
2022: Georgia won the SEC and won the CFP
2023: Michigan won the CFP after beating SEC Champion Alabama in the Rose Semi

So, I give Notre Dame a puncher's chance since they beat SEC Champion Georgia in the Sugar Quarter.

Two Legendary, and Worthy Teams!!! Both are real good and both can be beat. ohio state lost to two mediocre BIG teams and Notre Dame lost to a mediocre MAC team. That said this has all the makings for a real good game. I am still conflicted on who I am rooting for. I have taken Notre Dame +8.5 ($20), but that won't change who I am rooting for. 8.5 is too many points in this game.
