No. It was nominated for Best Picture because it was a good movie. Movies like Infinity War and Endgame won’t be nominated because of an stupid fucking elite attitude in Hollywood. If Meryl Streep played Thanos 11 or 12 nominations.

$20 says I know how mutants just got re-conned into the MCU.

Also loved that Malcolm in the Middle was the theme tonight. I was worried for the 00's it would be Everyone Loves Raymond or some bullshit sitcom like that. It would have been genius if they did The Office but that worked.

Next week I fully expect a 2 Broke Girls reference for Darcy.

You talking about the blood work scene? The DNA change Darcy mentioned was interesting but I'm not sure how that would work to introduce mutants. There would have to be an event more massive than Westview if that's the route they are taking.

Was a good episode

I think I saw a clip that looked like a Modern. family rip...but with Wanda becoming more and more erratic and Piedro adding really dark humor, she's cracking and the whole concept of the sitcom is falling apart.

Good to see Speed and Wiccan.

Wiccan grows up and falls in love in Hulkling...wonder if they keep with that...

Just binged the whole season to date over the past couple of nights. I really enjoyed the parodies in the first four or five episodes. I'm not a fanboy like my kids so I don't get all of what's going on but it's still an enjoyable series
 
nothing too new from this episode that we hadn't already figured out, Agatha has officially been introduced and Photon has been teased right much more.

I think we learned 2 main things in this episode, both are somewhat “important”...

1) Agnes = Agatha and is either the main one behind the Hex, or got in with the intention of guiding it somewhere

and

2) Pietro is not X-Pietro. Still no clue why he looks like X-Pietro, though...
 
Anybody get a good look at the book Wanda was looking at in Agatha's basement? I thought it had some kind of symbol on it but I couldn't make it out
