The craziest stat in yesterday's game -
Dillon Johnson had 199y rushing BEFORE CONTACT.

I'm not sure I've ever heard of that before.

That's as bad of a run defense as I've ever seen.

UW is not a running team and just ran it down their throats over and over.

And next week USC plays a team that averages over 200 yards rushing a game. As good as CW is, it's hard to win championships if you can't stop the run at all.

I'm sure SC will bring up more to the box for Oregon. They clearly wanted to limit Penix's explosive plays and basically dared UW to run.

So yes, I'd expect more opportunities for Nix to see single man coverage downfield. He should have a pretty big day.

That’s similar to what Cal did honestly. And they largely kept the Oregon run game in check. But they gave up over 400 yards in the air.

Cal actually tackled pretty well yesterday, however. That’s something I don’t see happening with SC next week
