Watched a show on Alex Smith's comeback today.

Missed the beginning of it since it was already on when I got home.

Holy Crap mad respect to that guy. (& his wife)

They had to get permission from the DOD I think they said. So the military could consult on his injuries & help him.
He went back to them about a year later after getting help. So they could run him through test to see where he was at. Even they were really surprised at where he was at in rehab.

I mean I knew his story, but seeing a lot of things I didnt know or see before. Pretty damn amazing!

Even if it's an old documentary, it was a true statement of will power and fight that comes from the depths of a man's character. Not many of us have it, but Alex Smith sure as shit does. I was actually happy to see him get on the field and prove to everyone that his mission was not impossible, but accomplished. Glad he retired tho, he proved his point.
