I have a pair of Reebox tennis shoes with composite toe. They don't feel like tennis shoe. Might be the most uncomfortable shoes I own.

I ran into a slightly similar situation at a Casey's once. They sold water in 3 gallon boxes. Their backstock for single gallon sales was in a similar box bot no barcode. Yeah, I had to put it back.

Before my daughter was born, my wife got the cops called on her by a shop in town. We had ordered a changing table and a crib for Ham. The crib was backordered when we bought it. So, we paid for everything. Flash forward about 3 months, and we're trying to check if the crib is going to get delivered before the baby arrives. Call the manufacturer, and they need a PO from the store. Wife goes to the store, and they don't have a PO. Apparently they never ordered the crib, and were hoping they could skate until it came into stock before ordering it. Wife went to the store to ask for a PO or a refund. Clerk called the cops, who sided with my wife. We got the refund and ordered a different crib online.

Goodness. Must be a small business to pull some crap like that. Not to mention a crib only has so much use. Very bad business practice. Good that it had a happy ending. Would also make me think they did a lot of crap like that and it wasn't the first time

Yeah, it was some place in town. Thought we were doing a solid supporting a local shop. Dude was apparently a bit of a sleaze. Wasn't sad to see that store close about a year later.

Mine are rebook, too. They aren't as comfortable as tennis shoes, but they are more comfortable than boots I have
