Blew up the water supply line from the well to the house Thursday. Finally got an excavator here today. Line is fixed, going to put a hydrant in tomorrow and fill the hole. Damn I need a shower.

After months of $100 water bills while we were in Florida I came back and insisted they change out the meter.

Meter was good. One of my outside in ground hydrants was leaking, no way to tell it from the surface.

I valved both of my in ground hydrants off and maybe I'll dig them up next summer when I get back from this years southern sojourn. Water bill went down to $35.

I filled in the well about 5 years after I bought this place. Lake water came in and I was afraid one of the kids would fall in it.
I still remember that good cool water in the bucket though.
