Wedding infused dinner laced with marijuana

I don’t know why anyone thinks it’s cool/funny to lace people’s food without their knowledge or consent. What happens if one of their guests has a job that requires drug tests?

What was done here is absolutely wrong at every level.
However, drug testing already has the "I ate a cookie at a party that made me feel weird" excuse built into it.
The urinalysis machines have a 15ng threshold for detecting THC metabolites. Metabolite levels under 15ng are kicked out as an automatic negative. After your first piss (at home) the morning after, you'd be well under that 15ng threshold.

You have to be a regular user to pop a positive >15ng.

I was somewhat in error there.

The initial screen is 50ng/ml.
If a urine sample is at that threshold then the testing facility will run a confirmatory sample where the machine is set at 15ng/ml

They very well might get a pass. Maybe some sort of written excuse from a doctor prior to any testing?

First time I took acid, I didn’t know I took acid. That was a rather interesting night. And next morning.

One time a friend and I gutted out a couple of our friends cigarettes, mixed in some weed and packed em back up. While we were still sleeping he went to work, took the smokes. Came home for “lunch” at about 10 am, high off his ass. Good times…

I mean, you never really know until you know. It's definitely not working. This is bullshit. Are we gonna find the asshole we got it from or just keep waiting? Fuck man whose idea was this anyway? Wasted my goddamned time an-- oh shit

And a half life of 30 hours means most people clear that out in 3-4 days

For the "I ate a cookie at a party that made me feel weird" excuse.

Yeah. You'd basically be at 0 ng/ml in 3 days.

Even the home test kits that you buy off the shelf a Walgreens have a threshold built into them.
I had an ex girlfriend that applied for a promotion at UNMC that required a urinalysis. She got the promotion and was scheduled for urinalysis 2 days after that.
She was worried because she smoked the weed 2 or 3 times a week. I bought a couple tests from Walgreens that has the cup with the paper strip in the lid and had her pee in the cup first thing in the next morning (i.e. first piss of the day/non-diluted) and it said she was negative.
She passed (negative) her official urinalysis spectrometer test 2 days later.

ive always maintained that pot pee tests are to see if you are smart enough to quit for a few days to pass the test, if not you're too stupid for the job

@Red_Alert sure knows a lot of useless information

This is true, but it's useful if one has to study for a tinkle test and are sweating the outcome.

I used to have to give random urinalysis/breathalyzer tests to my employees. While the employee was in the bathroom trying to fill the cup I had plenty of time to talk to the individual sent out from the company I'd hired to administer the test.
By contract I had to test 20% of my employees twice a year for each.
I used the last digit of their SSN's for the 'randomness'. I'd draw numbers out of a hat until I reached the 20%. I'd then go tell the employees "Congrats you're it. You might want to start studying".
They'd look at me strange for a few seconds then they'd figure it out and go start drinking water.

That’s what they did while I was in the Navy
When I was in, they pulled two letters and 2 numbers. Say they pulled, in order, S, G, 0, 5. If your last name started with any letter between S and G and 2 or 5 was your last SSN digit you had to test by the end of the day. It happened once a month on schedule and would have random draws about every 6 weeks.
