Weddish Weds

I almost became a casuality of stupidity

There is a trainstop and bus route just outside of campus, no surprise, the road it self is a bike path, so no cars (outside of buses which drive on the tracks). Lost in my own mind I crossed one set of tracks and was heading to cross the other without stopping, thankfully I realized I was in my world and stopped and looked and sure enough an electric bus was quietly barreling down the tracks

I was *this* close to getting hit by a bus....(by this, I mean not at all, but was reminder to pay attention as I was about to walk right through)
Glad you are okay buddy. I am assuming the bus probably doesn't make much noise either? I always worry about that with EV cars when I am out running on the roads. Those things are super quiet

Climate changes making your grass to too dry and his grass to too wet.
this is...

I don't know how to respond to this...

what he is talking about is just called "weather"

You really think that is climate change? Could it be that his area which traditionally always gets more snow than me would also get more rain? Or, that its just simply the luck of the draw like it has been for centuries?
I don't think Rob understands how climates work...

We must be living in different biospheres pardna, my lawn needs some rain
Maybe it's proximity to Lake Erie. I'm not terribly close, but closer than you. We've had rain recently and flora is green af.

Nature's first green is gold.

I am sure that plays a part. I think its very similar to being in the snow belt but in this case rain.

That being said, plants and flowers are looking amazing (pats self on back)

It has. Most of my plants are fairly new so they needed time to get established but everything has been looking great. Neighbors put in a garden and they said they are ahead of schedule

My assumption is that this is Rob's brand of social commentary, making light of how opposite situations are both caused by climate change. "Everything is climate change."
Ok, I'm your huckleberry

so my swamp ass? Climate change?
