I worked all day at my parent's cabin yesterday and we left after supper. Only made it back to Alexandria before the roads were getting icy, so Lil' Kobe and I had to stay at a hotel overnight. Stayed at a Quality Inn and I'm now very aware that quality is a very subjective term.

The desk clerk checked me in and told me we'd be in room 103. Then took the keys back and said, "Hold on....I need to go make sure that room is clean." The fuck? It was almost 10pm.

They notably don’t describe the “Quality” of their inn. Poor quality is still a quality.

Oh no doubt, I've mixed results with budget hotels. If I'm just staying the night, I don't mind too much so long as it's clean

While in Lincoln we stayed at a motel directly across from a prison, so that was exciting
