It really would have been a simple "my bad" but he took lengths to erase his wrongness...even so much as to participate in a thread to deny his error.

Leaving the mistake would've been less work

The man will work harder to not be wrong rather than admitting as such

I clicked two buttons.

And I admitted I was wrong on page 1 before realizing I could still edit.
