not a whole lot going on in the office for me right now, so I think I am going to cut out after lunch, get another tennis racquet (or 2) strung, go for a run...then just chill.

loving this time of year. Hoping to get plants for my garden this week too...time to get that rolling.

my neighbor gave me a free green giant arborvitae...the leland cyprus I planted last summer didn't make it through the summer, so I am going to try something else there. Shouldn't be too noticeable...

First baseball practice went well. We'll see how the season goes. Biggest concern, as always, will be pitching.
 
Been in a blizzard warning since early this morning. Was 60 yesterday and almost 80 Monday

And Texas is in a play-in game tonight. Wish I could be optimistic about it.

I saw an ESPN analyst pick Xavier as one of their teams that could make the Final Four that isn't a #1 or #2 seed.

The men have been disappointing this season. I'm hoping the women can go all the way.

Texas women have either Tennessee or Ohio State in the Sweet 16, then Notre Dame or TCU in the Elite 8. Tough Regional, but maybe South Carolina will meet you in the Final Four
 
nephew #2 is supposed to get here today or tomorrow...waiting for an update from my BIL

got two grant applications done, made a run to Home Depot for materials for a greenhouse, finalized bid for paving, and then rubbed one out under my desk

I'll be with you hopefully when the NCAA baseball tournament begins. Feels weird having Schlossnagle as our coach, but Rice didn't hire Pierce.

We're Little League, not travel. I'm sure there's just U11 travel if we wanted, but fuck all that bullshit.

Our divisions are 7-8, 9, 10-11, 12-13 play 50/70, and then 14-16 play on the full sized field.

Probably not going to do Cooperstown because we'd likely get smoked.
