But loads of talent, lots of energy. If Milroe progresses the offense will be really good. Was impressed with the defense, but need to work on tackling.

Can't gather much from games like this.

so it turns out…..when you lose 13 players to the draft and your entire coaching staff who just won a national title in the same season, there’s a bit of an adjustment period.

Satisfied so far, especially with the defense. But gotta see us against tougher opponents.

Auburn is gay.
 
Bit sloppy here and there. Lots of good plays on both sides as well. Overall not bad for a patchwork team of guys who likely haven't even learned each others names fully yet.
 
Will Howard is the man for the job. Even with the drops, he had an amazing day. First half should have been better, second half was great. It's early but seeing Oregon and michigan struggle greatly makes me optimistic.

Defense: A-
Special teams: A+
Coaching: C-

We need to figure out someone at WR and stat. I actually thought Davis Warren did good. Has really nice touch on the ball, was really accurate when asked to throw and didn't make many mistakes. But man, there's just no WR separation at all. Fresno State had our WRs step for step the entire night, so all we did was check downs to the RB or to Loveland; who was able to get separation. Biggest problem right now with the team is finding a WR1.

Everything else was just kind sloppy and can be fixed. Defense is going to keep us in a lot of games.
 
Our offense looked less retarded.
Our defense became massively retarded (compared to the last two seasons of not being complete shit)

OSU:
Defense - A+
Offense - B
Special Teams - A
Coaching - B

Defense scored twice bringing them up from A to A+. Dealt with a number of trick plays and kept the Zips out of the end zone.

Offense: O line still needs work. Offense needs to play clean. Jeremiah Smith is 'HIM', whatever that means.

Special Teams - made all the kicks.

Coaching - needed to get the backup qb time with the 1's. Too much shuttling of the right guard in the first half so neither guy could get in to the rhythm of the game. Should have let the backup punter kick the last one. He was projected as the starter at the beginning of the week but was inconsistent in practice. Need to see what he can do under fire.
